Just a random post, with the little one crawling like a little worm "seriously" its so funny, she's not yet crawling like a proper crawl though, I was glad that I was able to catch a video with her first couple of moves last week, she was like what? I can do this? she was chuffed to be able to reach out and grab anything she wants now, but yet to master her new skill!

I've been working lately on a project, that I mentioned prematurely I think! its taking me so much time than I thought & tons of work, I sometimes rethink the whole idea of it, but deep down I just want to go for it, I guess I just need to remind myself that its worth it, I'm madly passionate about it and I can do it, hence the name of my blog sunzdid, I just realised it has a message within "thanks Zeina". Talking with my family & friends always makes me feel much better, I need to overcome my fears!

In this post, I will go through some bits of advice that might help first time mum's out there, I don't carry any medical qualifications, I am just writing about my personal experience so here we go

1 Ask, whenever in doubt, ask whoever you are comfortable talking to, it could be your mother, sister, husband, friend or midwife etc. 

A special Eid

The little one just slept, giving me some time to put this post together, oh my how did Ramadan past so fast? subhanAllah we wait for this holly month for 11 months and when its time, the month literally flies away, I just pray all our fasting and prayers will be accepted, and we live to witness the next inshAllah.  

So, I got myself busy on the last day of Ramadan making some Libyan biscuits,  as we have nearly 20 hours of fasting, it was easy to get busy baking when the little one is settled.  Eid biscuits are a tradition back home, so usually we make and give a plate full to our family and friends when visiting, let me know if you need any biscuit recipe.

Thoughts and tips on labour

The scary word for most mum’s, I had so many questions before that day came, so many answers were given to me by the midwives, family and friends, but it's always the fear of the unknown deep down that strangled my thoughts for a while. 

A beautiful bunny

On the 12th of April, we welcomed our baby girl, beautiful as a bunny.  I don't really know how time passed so fast? I remember me and Mr talking to her, feeling her kicks and freaking out whenever she was quite.
