Dear stretch marks

Well as I promised, here's a post about one of many pregnancy problems ( stretch marks ) they appear very fast and itch! it differs from body to another and to maintain a healthy weight gain while pregnant it is always recommended that you watch your weight and not gain weight very fast, as that will most likely affect your body and your skin will be definitely affected and stretched quickly leading to the not so lovable stretch marks.

It's been a while I always thought of blogging about my journey and maybe helping others that a are going through the same, but unfortunately, I never had time for that being either tired or too busy.  It's been a long pregnancy ride for me 24 weeks now and can't wait to meet my little angel.  I thought I might share a few tips and even products I've been using that worked great for me and others that didn't.  I also thought of sharing some effortless and healthy dishes anyone in the same situation can make.

Another late post and I promise it's not the last!, so these are some snaps of the last Eid elfitr after the holy month of Ramadan, it was the first Eid away from my family it was a good one with my Mr and friends though, but I guess missing my family's presence always makes it incomplete,
praying to visit my beloved Libya soon inshAllah and just give a bear hug to mama and baba, enough chatter now I'll let you check out some of the Libyan traditional Eid biscuits, if you're interested in trying any out leave a comment I'll be glad to share the recipes :)

Late post! I know, haven't been able to blog for some time now, so I've been planning for this for a while now, looking back I figured out I really do love event planning so much and enjoy all the organizing, so the 28th of Sep was our first anniversary, I thought of setting a little indoor party just for the two of us, I thought before of having a picnic but the weather wasn't so promising, so I thought of celebrating with a wedding inspired theme.

So all you need is a wholemeal bread ( baguette, smoked salmon, tomatoes, lettuce, rocket, olives if you like ) and enjoy you free healthy easy to prepare sandwich!

This poor post has been drafted for months ( I totally forgot about it ) I was just scrolling down from boredom and was glad I had a couple of ready posts drafted with photos attached woohoo! So I've been baking these muffins for some time now & they never get old, my husband loves taking them to school with him, they are full of all the good nutrients our bodies need, it also makes you full & give you that nice clean morning start :)

So I'm in love with my new blender and can't get enough of healthy smoothies, so I tried this out yesterday, its simple and takes no time!



Wholemeal & Oatmeal cookies



This recipe by far is my favourite, it's easy to make packed with healthy nutrients and so delicious!
You need : 1 cup wholemeal flour ( I used whole wheat flour mixed with seeds ) you could use plain as well, 1/2 cup oats, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/3 cup EVOO, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1 large egg, vanilla, 1/2 cup raisins.
